Only 40 minutes from Cardiff and a few moments walk from the centre of Monmouth in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley this fantastic family-run hotel gives you a friendly service and a warm welcome, good food and wines, comfortable rooms and great value for money.

A seventeen bedroom hotel, newly decorated and refurbished. We have a fantastic modern restaurant and a trendy new bar popular with the locals and our residents.

Directions

Hotel Map

Monmouth is well located just off the a40. To get to the hotel you should exit the a40 at the Trellech and Rockfield junction. If you are approaching from the North you will drive past Monmouth before reaching the Trellech and Rockfield Junction, which is immediately before a tunnel on the a40. Drive to the end of the slip road and take a right. Follow this road down the hill to the mini roundabout, turn left, and follow the road through the traffic lights. The Riverside Hotel is almost immediately on your left. If you are approaching from the South, you will go through a tunnel and come off immediately afterwards at the Trellech and Rockfield junction. Follow the slip road to a mini roundabout, and go straight ahead and through the traffic lights; The Riverside Hotel is almost immediately on your left.
